As the second round of pilot programs for corporate compliance-based non-prosecution reforms in ten provinces and cities nears completion, the Supreme People's Procuratorate will soon roll out the corporate compliance reform nationwide. Meanwhile, related legislative efforts have entered a substantive research phase, paving the way for compliance initiatives and remediation measures to soon become legally recognized grounds for non-prosecution or lighter penalties for companies involved in criminal cases.

On August 2, the Guangzhou Municipal Government officially released the "Several Measures to Promote and Strengthen the Development of the Private Economy in Guangzhou" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures") on its official website, aiming to stabilize expectations and boost confidence in the growth of the private sector.
