Today, Wang Jun, Party Branch Secretary of Beijing Xinglai Law Firm, led a study group composed of party-member lawyers and outstanding members of the public in a brief yet highly effective learning and exchange session during their work breaks. Participants delved into Chapters 4, 5, and 6 of "Selected Excerpts from Xi Jinping on Strengthening the Party's Conduct," fostering a relaxed yet focused atmosphere as they shared their personal insights and reflections based on their own experiences.

This study session revolved around three core chapters. Regarding the statement that "the Central Eight Provisions serve as both an entry point and a rallying call for improving work styles," group members unanimously agreed that these provisions are not only an iron rule that the entire Party must follow but also a code of conduct that legal professionals—especially lawyer-party members—should consciously align themselves with. In their daily work, lawyer-party members should constantly reflect themselves against the spirit of the Eight Provisions, particularly when interacting with clients or conducting business activities, ensuring they uphold professional ethics and maintain clear, transparent relationships.

When discussing "continuously deepening efforts to address the 'Four Undesirables,'" participants enthusiastically shared their thoughts, particularly in the context of legal services. For instance, it was emphasized that special attention should be paid to preventing formalism—ensuring that both legal document drafting and case representation are focused on delivering real results, rather than mere superficial compliance. Additionally, practitioners were urged to remain patient and meticulous when dealing with clients, firmly rejecting any bureaucratic tendencies and committing wholeheartedly to addressing their legal challenges with care and empathy.

Finally, emphasizing the need for "leading cadres at all levels to take the initiative in changing their work styles—practicing what they preach and setting an example from the top down," Secretary Wang Jun pledged that, as both a branch secretary and a law firm manager, she would personally lead by example, holding herself to the highest standards and inspiring all lawyers in the firm. Meanwhile, Party member and lawyer Wu Jialing echoed this sentiment, affirming that as a Party member, she must actively demonstrate exemplary behavior in her professional duties, starting with herself, transforming her own work approach to influence and motivate colleagues around her.

This group study session was practical and fostered in-depth exchanges. As the four members carefully studied and discussed the material, they deepened their understanding of the critical importance of strengthening professional conduct, ultimately forging a shared vision. Participants unanimously expressed their commitment to translating what they’ve learned into concrete actions—such as enhancing professional services and upholding ethical standards—thereby showcasing the exemplary image of Party-member lawyers in the new era through even more refined conduct.
